HMA Logo
I included logos that were not chosen by the museum for the sake of my design process. The HMA typeface is Century Gothic Pro Regular; this round, thin typeface complements the tall facade of the museum. The slogan typeface is Mahalia Regular represents the rolling hills of West Virginia. The museum, in Huntington, WV, holds architectural importance through designer Walter Gropius.

HMA Corporate
Identity Manual
My Capstone encompassed a comprehensive rebranding of the Huntington Museum of Art that included a logo, title wall, corporate identity manual, rack cards, letterhead and envelopes, business cards, postcards, stickers, t-shirts, zipper pouch, tote bags, social media posts, and website.
If people are the future, museums should shape that future through knowledge and understanding of art and architecture, for Huntington, this means a little slice of heaven among the hills.

HMA Stationery
The museum stationery set includes letterhead, envelopes, postcards, and business cards. This represents the museum in an official capacity.

HMA Axolotl Marketing
The museum logo is featured at the bottom of these designs. The axolotl marketing can be shown through multiple patterns.

HMA Tote Bag
The museum logo is featured at the bottom of this tote. The logo with organic forms can be featured on many other clothing items.

HMA Rack Card
The museum logo is featured on the rack card. The rack card features important visitor information.

HMA Stickers
The museum logo is featured on the sticker pack. The stickers are the perfect size for small items such as phones or laptops.

HMA T-shirts
The T-shirts are a perfect way to display museum pride.

HMA Social Media Posts
I conducted a psychological analysis of the museum’s social media audiences to understand the best-received museum designs. This analysis focused on the number of “likes” and the nature of comments on each existing post. How the audience receives the posts is essential to the impression the audience gains of museum.

HMA Website
The website showcased the culmination of the project. I used Adobe XD to design a functional website without online publication.
“Walk Among the Art” Exhibit for HMA
In addition to the rebrand, I curated the “Walk among the Art” Exhibit which showcased a multidimensional experience for various demographics. The featured work is my personal painting. Due to COVID-19, we couldn’t display our projects, so these are in progress photos.

Interconnection Capstone Group
The Interconnection Capstone Group came together to exhibit our capstones. I designed the logo and postcard for our group. I used a group color palette to design the logo. Each group member placed a main color from their project into my idea sketches. From there, we chose a group logo. The process logo photos are below the finished logo and postcard. Due to COVID-19, the capstone professor required we finish the logo and postcard. We couldn’t display our projects or have an exhibit, so these are digital mock-ups.
